Manara is a founder-led international fellowship for young adults ages 18–22.
Fellows don’t simply visit another country. They navigate unfamiliar environments, meet people whose lives differ from their own, take on challenges, and reflect on what those experiences reveal about themselves.
Seven days across Tokyo and Kyoto, preceded by three days of virtual preparation. Fellows navigate one of the world’s most fascinating cultures through experiences designed to challenge assumptions, build confidence, and encourage greater independence.
Education Advisors & Agents — Offer students a distinctive international fellowship alongside their academic journey.
Schools & Universities — Extend learning beyond the classroom through meaningful international experience.
Counselors & Student Advisors — Give young adults seeking growth, independence, or international exposure another path to consider.
Organizations & Communities — Create access to a small-cohort international experience for young people within your community or network.
Participants do not need to be enrolled in an educational institution.
Partnerships can range from referring individual students to exploring dedicated cohorts or broader collaboration.
We keep the model intentionally flexible and start by understanding your students, your organization, and what you’re hoping to create.
Each cohort is limited to 6–8 fellows, creating space for meaningful conversation, individual attention, and genuine relationships.
Every fellowship is personally led by Manara’s founder, creating continuity between mentorship, experience, challenge, and reflection.
The destination isn’t the product. It is the environment in which fellows practice navigating uncertainty, engaging across cultures, and making decisions.
Participants are chosen for curiosity, maturity, character, and willingness to grow — helping create a cohort where the people matter as much as the itinerary.
