Manara was created around a shared belief: some of the most important growth happens when young adults step outside what is familiar, encounter people and perspectives different from their own, and begin trusting their own judgment.

When each of my daughters graduated, I gave them the same gift: a journey, just the two of us, built around real challenges, unfamiliar places, and honest conversations.
I watched each of them change. Not gradually, over years—but visibly, over days. The confidence that comes from navigating something unfamiliar. The clarity that arrives when you step away from everything routine. The conversations that only happen when you’re somewhere new together.
I came home from each of those trips convinced of something: experiences like these shouldn’t be limited to father-daughter journeys. Every young adult deserves opportunities to challenge themselves, broaden their perspective, and discover what they are capable of becoming.
Manara was built from that conviction.

Marie-Klaude has spent more than twenty years in hospitality and international travel, but the experiences she remembers most aren’t defined by where she stayed or what she saw.
They’re the people she met, the places that challenged what felt familiar, and the moments that changed her perspective. That belief shapes the experience she brings to Manara: thoughtful, personal, and designed to give young adults the confidence to engage with unfamiliar people and places on their own terms.
As Co-Founder and Experience Director, Marie-Klaude helps shape how Manara experiences come to life. She also personally hosts the Wellington Experience, opening the doors to the equestrian community she calls home and connecting fellows with the people and perspectives that make it distinctive.
