Every Manara fellowship is personally led by founder Amr Younes, who currently serves in a leadership role at Airbnb. Over more than two decades, he has also held executive leadership positions at Air Canada and Thomas Cook, leading global teams, building international partnerships, and traveling to more than 70 countries.
As the father of five, Amr believes the transition from adolescence to adulthood deserves more intention than it often receives. Rather than simply showing fellows the world, he helps them build confidence, independence, perspective, and judgment to navigate it.
Throughout each fellowship, fellows take part in private conversations with remarkable people—including former diplomats, military leaders, entrepreneurs, university professors, and global executives. In these small-group discussions, fellows gain rare access to the stories, decisions, and lessons that shaped remarkable people.
